In 1989, I was sent to Poland for a conference of artists and graphic artists on ecology. At that time the Poles wanted to build the Auschwitz monastery. The survivors raised a shout. There was an anti-Semitic outbreak in Poland that I witnessed. I look like Poland and just recently spoke to me in Polish against the Jews with scorn and curses. To me it made a harsh contribution. Visions of the period we lived in after World War II came to the memory of Jewish murders and assaults. Things I've been pushing for years. Returning from the conference, I wrote the book.
